Icebreaker Real Fleece Sierra 260 Jacket Review
We give our verdict on the real fleece sierra 260 full zip jacket from Icebreaker.
Icebreaker Real fleece Sierra 260 full zip jacket
The 260gm pure New Zealand Merino wool is incredibly warm and instantly comfortable. While it’s not really designed as a performance outer layer, we’ve been out trail running on wet, windy days having forgotten our shells and still stayed toasty warm in it. Best of all, it’s the perfect comfort post-workout stretch-down or even yoga top, as even if you’re still a bit sweaty when you stick it on, it won’t get stinky or cold. Casual cut, hand-warmer pockets and another zipped pocket on the sleeve make it one of our favourite wear-all-the-time tops at this time of year. This kind of quality certainly doesn’t come cheap but our year-old sample has held it’s shape superbly and it even comes with a “baa code” to trace the wool back to the flock it came from in New Zealand.
Super warm and comfortable warm-down, wear-all-the-time jacket.
