We review this women-specific two-piece tri suit.
Tri Girl Endurance Tri Tank and Speed Tri Shorts
New for the 2012 season, this top and shorts combo comes with a separate sports bra – available in A/B or C/D cup sizes – and although it’s not necessarily needed for privacy with a two-piece, it added support and offered extra freedom of movement and breathability. The female- specific fit does assume wider hips, which means it’s not the most streamlined on the bike for svelte riders, but lack of restriction is welcome on the run. The shorts are longer than most female-specific shorts. They don’t ride up or chafe on the bike, although for some riders the high waistband, which gives extra coverage at the back, may need to be rolled down to keep things comfy. The pad is unrestrictive and offers a good level of protection. The suit also looks great and it doesn’t become translucent when it’s wet. Which is a bonus!
Thoughtfully designed with women and practicality in mind.
