Entries are now open for the second edition of the Huntsman Triathlon taking place on Sunday 11th of October 2015. Situated in the Hawley Hard training ground on the banks of the idyllic Hawley Lake, Hampshire. The race features an open-water swim in the lake itself, a fast road cycle around the beautiful Hampshire rural countryside and a trail run through the gorgeous woodland surrounding Hawley.
There is both an Olympic and Sprint distance available, making it the perfect race for athletes of all ability. Race organisers, Always Aim High Events, have also announced that they will be improving the cycle route for the Olympic distance route. The inaugural race received rave reviews and the 2015 race is expected to be even bigger and better.
Always Aim High Event Manager Rob Samuel, is delighted with the way the 2014 Huntsman went and feels the company can build on this to make the event one of the best in the UK.
“It was our first event outside of Wales and the fact that it was so successful has made us even more confident that we can make the Huntsman one of the UK’s greatest triathlons.
We are really excited by the 2015 Huntsman. We are in the process of improving the cycle course for the Olympic route and as always are working hard with the local communities to make sure they are as involved as possible.
The Huntsman Tri is the perfect way to finish your tri season with a challenge.
We would also like to pay a special thank you to Suunto for their support in organising this event”
