Soleus brings GPS technology to all runners with another simple, easy to use and affordable sports watch.

Fit Brands, the UK distributor of Soleus, today announces an addition to its family of sports watches; the Soleus GPS FIT 1.0. The watch was designed with Soleus’ philosophy at its heart: providing runners with everything they need and nothing they don’t.

Simple and easy to use with an RRP of £99, the Soleus GPS FIT 1.0 is an updated version of the top selling GPS 1.0. It allows runners to accurately track their pace, speed and distance. Auto lap splits can be set by the runner in half mile and half km increments and the night light mode will help for training runs through the winter months. The display has been updated to provide big, easy to see digits and the user can toggle to view what is most important to them, whether it be speed, calories, distance or time. It has four light modes and a more breathable band for increased comfort.

Using global positioning satellites, the Soleus GPS FIT 1.0 allows the user to navigate and record their runs, walks and hikes and tracks the number of calories burned during the workout. Its compact design makes it one of the smallest GPS watches on the market today.

No matter where the runner is in their training, Soleus has a watch that caters to their needs – from the walker, to the newbie runner to the professional.  Every Soleus watch has the clear aim of being affordable, value for money and simple to use watches to all runners and walkers. The market is full of complex and expensive watches; runners pay for functions they just don’t use. If the runner is serious and wants more data tracking, or is relatively new to running and just wants to know how far and how fast, there’s a Soleus watch perfect for them. Soleus gives the runner everything he needs in a watch and nothing he doesn’t. Soleus includes a large viewing area, large digits, and bright fun colours to their watches, allowing runners to use them as their everyday watch too.

Josh Arnold, sales director at Soleus Corporate, states:  “The Soleus GPS 1.0 has been a best-seller, providing runners with a watch that is affordable, high-tech, but easy to use. Our watches are compact, making them a watch that can be used every day. We’ve updated the GPS 1.0 with bigger digits for easy viewing when concentrating on running. We’ve also reduced the number of buttons to simplify use further and the screen is now also customizable, allowing the runner to have the most important information to them on the screen.”

Jon Dennis, managing director of Fit Brands, says: “This watch is perfect for improvers; those wanting to improve their PBs. Being able to record runs, details, times and calories is really motivating. Unlike other watches on the market, the Soleus GPS FIT 1.0 doesn’t overcomplicate this with lots of unnecessary data. Soleus is dedicated to providing the most accurate, most comfortable, most insight-driven running watches on the market while always focusing on the ultimate goal for the runner.”
