Don’t miss your chance to take part in a yoga class designed specifically for endurance athletes with world class instructors at the Gatorade G SERIES PRO THEATRE held at the beginning and close of show each day.
The G SERIES PRO THEATRE is running two practical sessions of Yoga for ‘Endurance Athletes’ each day with instructors; Jack Maitland, coach to world renowned triathletes, Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee and Diane Lee, who works with a wide range of elite athletes across sports ranging from Triathlon through to motorsport.
The sessions are at:
· 9:45 Saturday
· 16:45 Saturday
· 9:00 Sunday
· 16:00 Sunday
The sessions are open to 25 people, and are targeted at anyone from the first timer right through to the yoga fanatic. 10 mats will be available, as such it is requested that people please bring their own. Spots can be booked in advance via email (contact Dan.antonelli@imgworld.com) to guarantee a spot or one can just turn up on the day.
With respect to the sessions, World Champion Triathlon Coach, Jack Maitland comments; “My yoga session at the Gatorade Pro Series Theatre will take the participants through the fundamental postures of the ashtanga yoga system. By linking movement with breath, you will discover how to stretch and strengthen your body, working towards correcting the misalignments that naturally occur through the repeated movements of triathlon training. You will also learn how yoga can help mentally by teaching you to focus and relax through the physical practice.”
