Zipp releases two new high-performance wheels for 2013.

zipp-30 Wheels1. Zipp 30 Clincher

Zipp’s new 30 Clincher transports you from that effortless coffee-shop ride rollout to the pain cave in efficient Zipp style. This is a durable, high-performance wheelset designed with proven aerodynamic principles.

Its hybrid toroidal aluminum rim provides an aero advantage exceeding many deeper “V” section carbon rims. The 30 Clincher’s all-new 10 or 11-speed compatible hub is buttery smooth yet so durable it pushed our test-lab equipment to the brink. For you, that means years of riding your wheels, not worrying about them. Simply put, the 30 Clincher is the perfect balance of durability, aerodynamics, stiffness and weight. And it comes at a price that fits every rider’s budget.

A WHOLE LOT OF WHEEL

  • Wide tire bed enhances cornering grip and increases ride comfort.
  • 30mm hybrid toroidal aluminum rim offers aerodynamic benefits surpassing many deeper “V” shaped carbon rims.
  • Ships with Zipp Tangente butyl road inner tubes with removable core (700c x 19-23mm), quick-release skewers and rim strips.

… BUILT AROUND A NEW HUB

  • 10/11-speed compatible. Shell formed from ultra-strong, lightweight 7075-T6 aluminum.

zipp-60 Wheels2. Zipp 60 Clincher

The final KM. The bell lap. That beautiful and isolated ribbon of road. They’re reasons you throw your leg over a bike frame and pedal. The new Zipp 60 Clincher allows you to experience these thrills on a precision-engineered, high-performance carbon rim at a price that won’t create financial drag. The 58mm dimpled hybrid toroidal rim is based on aerodynamic principles validated in the wind tunnel and with scores of race wins. Based on Zipp’s quarter-century of aero expertise, the 60 Clincher is stiff and durable yet nimble thanks to continuous and strenuous product development. An all-new 10 or 11-speed compatible hub makes the 60 Clincher as durable as it is fast. This versatile wheelset is perfect for road racers, triathletes, gran fondo enthusiasts or those who simply love to ride.
