We review these high end triathlon glasses by Adidas.
Adidas Adizero Tempo With Performance Insert
£155; Inserts from £100
Adidas’ Adizero Tempo glasses are proper high-end specs for triathlon. Ours came equipped with the slightly red-tinted, impact resistant polycarbonate LST (light stabilising technology) Active lens. Presumably thanks to adidas’ Decentered Vision Advantage technology, they offered incredibly crisp vision. They also have a water-repellent and anti-scratch coating. Coverage was excellent, with the lens wrapping just far enough to avoid glare spots and there was plenty of air to eliminate steaming while riding. They are comfortable to wear and are available in two sizes. The TRiFIT temple piece has three levels of eight-degree adjustment to get a great angle whether cycling or running. The nose pads are changeable and the lenses are secured by rubberised arms that didn’t pinch even after hours of training. Adidas’ Performance Insert allows a snap-in interior lens as an alternative for those who prefer not to use contact lenses. Made from lightweight plastic, the inserts ensured perfect, stress-free vision and can be changed if your prescription alters.
Excellent glasses for triathlon with a brilliant prescription option
