With Ironman fever still gripping us all after Kona last weekend, we take a quick look at the very latest offering from Timex. Is it worthy of your cash?
£249.99 (without HR belt)
This new GPS watch from Timex is a direct rival to the ever-popular Garmin Forerunner range of training timepieces. It actually uses Garmin GPS technology, but combines it with Timex’s intuitive buttons and menus, which Timex believe make it easier to use. Features include pace and distance measurement, as well as a breadcrumb trail you can follow should you get lost. Our only initial criticism is the size; anyone with small wrists may find it too big and bulky.
