New Balance 1080v3
A first fitting of the New Balance 1080v3 showed it to be an extremely comfortable shoe with plenty of soft cushioning encasing the foot. The comfort factor remained high during long runs; the plushly-padded tongue, heel and upper combined with a seamless finish and good breathability to help prevent sore spots. The ABZORB crash pad, which runs the length of the shoe, also noticeably lessened the impact on hard-hitting runs and added a positive bounce to each stride. The snug, stable fit was supportive, while the grippy outsole provided excellent traction even on slick pavements.
