We review Orca’s long-distance triathlon shorts.

Orca 226 Kompress Tri-Tech Pant

When you’re going longer than Olympic distance, the importance of comfortable gear becomes magnified so Orca’s 226 range, named after the metric distance covered in an Ironman race, is very welcome for getting the miles in. The 226 Kompress Tri-Tech Pant offers graduated compression for excellent muscle support, water repellent fabric, built in anti-bacterial properties and UPF50+ sun protection. All these are impressive but are added bonuses on top of the sumptuously comfortable pad, which validates the price of the shorts alone. The waistband is also wide and low enough to stay comfy for hours in the saddle, while the enveloped pockets and chafe-free inseam complete a great garment.

One of the most comfortable pairs of tri shorts on the market.
