Ribble Cycles is launching its new range-topping Ultimate SL model; the lightest frame the brand has designed to date.

Coming in at just 840g (Frame, size Medium, painted with decals), the bike is ideal for riders looking for a superlight machine for the road. The Ultimate SL excels in racing and epic challenge rides in the hills and big mountains.

With the new Ultimate SL, Ribble has created a frameset that is light and responsive; featuring new carbon tube profiles that are aerodynamically designed to cut through the air.

Designed with racing geometry and a short wheelbase, the Ultimate SL puts you in a low, efficient and aggressive racing position. The overall design is aimed at saving you watts and follows the Ribble tradition in building high quality bikes at great value prices.

The Ultimate SL’s thin seat stays help build in comfort into the rear triangle of the bike and a 27.2mm seat post also assists in taking some sting out of Britain’s rugged road surfaces.

An oversized bottom bracket shell and tapered head tube boost the bike’s stiffness and efficiency making it stiff enough to sprint for victory as well as light enough to climb into the clouds.

The Ultimate SL is available from £1,599, and comes with Ultegra Di2 11-speed, Mavic Ksyrium Elite Wheel and Deda Zero finishing kit as its recommended spec, available for £2,999.

All Ribble Cycles come with a 6-year warranty and a 30-day no-questions-asked returns policy.
