Skechers GOrun Ride 3
Skechers have tweaked their impressive GOrun Ride shoes for this season, updating the sole for a smoother transition through the run cycle and adding a bit more structure to the upper. The heel cup is a bit thicker and holds more securely while the upper is a little stiffer and more supportive and the tongue is thicker and more comfortable.
They remain airy, exceptionally light (227g – UK10) for the huge amount of comfort on offer and ultra flexible. The 4mm heel to toe drop and midfoot strike bias helps you run fast without harshness, but there’s also plenty of cushioning to rely on should your heel begin to drop as fatigue sets in.
The flexibility and lack of internal support – apart from the removable insole – means over-pronators might not have the structure they need to avoid collapse, but for neutral runners wanting light weight and comfort, they’re spot on.
