Welsh sports events company, Always Aim High Events, have announced that entries for the second installment of the Cardiff Triathlon will open to pre-registered triathletes on Monday 30 November.

The event is to be held over two days on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 June 2016 and is expected to attract in over 2000 athletes. cardiff tri

The race starts with a swim in Cardiff Bay, followed by a cycle on the roads around Cardiff and finishing with a run out to the Cardiff Bay Barrage.

The Event Village and transition zone will be held on Roald Dahl Plass in front of the Wales Millennium Centre.

When entries open to pre-reregistered athletes (Midday 30 November) athletes will not only be given the opportunity to jump the queue and enter the triathlon 24 hours before entries open to the general public (Monday 1st December) they will also save over 12% on the final event price.

The Cardiff Triathlon will host an Olympic distance (1500m/40km/10km) on Sunday 26 June 2016, a Sprint distance (750m/20km/5km) on Saturday 25 June and a new Super Sprint distance (400m/10km/2.5km) making it a race for competitors of all abilities.
