Challenge Weymouth to feature inter-club competition and prizes in inaugural 2014 race

Challenge-WeymouthThe team at Challenge Weymouth have annouced the launch of an Inter-Club Challenge, in which triathlon clubs across the country will be able to compete against each other to win a fabulous selection of prizes, adding a competitive twist to the race in its first year.

The competition is open to all triathlon clubs in the UK, regardless of how big or small, and there will be prizes awarded across four categories:

  • Fastest Club Individual Male
  • Fastest Club Individual Female
  • Largest Club Turnout
  • Spot Prizes x5

The prizes are definitely worth racing for too: the impressive collection includes entry to Challenge Weymouth 2015, Just Racing UK 2015 race entries, USN nutrition, Erdinger goodies, a night’s stay in Weymouth and much more.

Alan Rose, Race Director of Challenge Weymouth, said: “As triathletes we are all super competitive. The beauty of this competition is that you don’t need to finish on the podium in order to win a prize – it doesn’t matter if you come first or last; you are still in the running.

“And remember that you have to be ‘in it to win it’.  Make sure that your club is officially entered following the instructions below, and that when signing up each competitor includes their club name. Entries to Challenge Weymouth are selling out quick, so make sure that you sign up soon”

To enter your club, email philippa@justracinguk.com with the heading, ‘Challenge Weymouth Interclub Comp’, and include the following details:

  • Club Name
  • Contact Name
  • Contact Email Address
  • Contact Phone Number

Once your club is entered, the team at Challenge Weymouth will take care of the rest – just make sure that your club members include their ‘club name’ when they enter so that they can be found easily and properly assigned to the right club.
