Chateau de Chantilly Triathlon: another success for the Castle Tri Series

This weekend saw triathlon action amidst the splendor of Chateau de Chantilly (45 minutes North of Paris). The venue is the French jewel in the Castle Triathlon series’ crown and everything was shining from the stunning weather to the competitor’s own achievements.

The event attracted over 3,200 triathletes, a record-breaking growth of a third from last year, and testament to its growing credentials in the French triathlon calendar as one of the top five races.

News from a packed weekend included two engagements, Bailey Matthews taking on a longer distance, and hot competition on all eight-race distances. However, it was yet another proud day for team GB as they dominated the podium on the Olympic and Gauntlet race.
