Pro Craig Twigg to takeover Challenge Weymouth twitter account tonight
The team at Challenge Weymouth is excited to announce that they will be offering a ‘Twitter Takeover’ tonight, 13 August, led by pro triathlete and Challenge Weymouth competitor Craig Twigg.
Recently announced as the new 2015 ETU European Long Distance Triathlon Championships destination, the inaugural Challenge Weymouth takes place on 14 September 2014 and looks set to attract an extremely competitive line up.
Pro triathlete Craig Twigg is signed up to race, and has volunteered to take over the Challenge Weymouth twitter account (@Challengetriuk) on Wednesday 13 August between 8.00 and 8.45pm. He will be on hand to answer questions and provide expert tips and advice for those racing.
If competitors want to learn more about nutrition, tapering or simply training tips to follow from now until race day, Craig hopes to cover all of the most important aspects of pre-race preparation.
Craig is incredibly excited about competing down at Weymouth next month.
He says, “I’m really looking forward to racing challenge Weymouth, after winning the Outlaw a couple of weeks ago my motivation to race fast is greater than ever. It will be a great race in one of Britain’s famous seaside resorts, and the weather is always great on the English riviera! My training is good, I’m healthy and injury free and have now recovered from my last race. I’ll have a couple of solid weeks before taper time again. I’m excited and can’t wait to get on the start line!”
So why not join Craig tomorrow evening between 8.00 – 8.45pm via the Challenge Weymouth Twitter account – and make sure you have your questions ready!
And a limited number of entries are still available to this year’s inaugural Challenge Weymouth and Weymouth Half events at www.challengeweymouth.com.
So if you are interested in taking part, then make sure you get your entry in soon.
