Entries are now open for the return of Red Bull Neptune Steps, as the open-water adventure race returns to Glasgow for 2018.

Following the success of the event in Glasgow in recent years, the 2018 event invites 600 participants to take on the challenge of swimming uphill in the Forth & Clyde canal on Saturday 10th March 2018.

Since launching in 2015, the event has seen athletes from a wide range of sporting disciplines compete, from Olympic swimmers and top level ITU triathletes, to obstacle course racers and other fitness enthusiasts. And now, taking to the water for this it’s fourth edition, the event opens up to more than double last year’s intake, with 600 competitors set to swim, climb and conquer the adventure race like no other.

Red Bull Neptune Steps challenges competitors in a true test of speed, strength and resolve, as they swim through 420 metres of cold water and climb 18 metres over seven canal lock gates.

The event will take place on Saturday March 10 2018 at Maryhill Locks in Glasgow. Entries are now open here.
