Guildford’s largest triathlon is returning for 2017 on Sunday 11th June. Taking place at the state-of-the-art facility Surrey Sports Park, both novices and veterans are welcomed to enjoy this sprint distance triathlon by award-winning organisers aat-events.

All Guildford Triathlon finishers receive a large, quality medal before treating themselves to a Starbucks coffee, relaxing on air sofas, receiving sports massages and fantastic deals from sponsors Salming and Dolphin Kick.

This event sells out in advance every year, so those interested are urged to book soon. Guildford Triathlon participants first complete their 500m swim in the 50m pool, before embarking on a 22km road bike along quiet roads to the North West of Guildford.

Triathletes then finish with 5.5km trail run across scenic farmland. The Guildford Triathlon is suitable for adults (15yrs+), as shorter Aquathlon (swim, run) distances are available for children aged 7 – 14.

Participants are invited to complete the Guildford Triathlon as part of a relay team or as an individual competitor. The current record is held by a member of Phoenix Triathlon Club with a win time of 1:04.

New for 2017 is the inclusion of a second mid-week date for another instalment of the Guildford Triathlon! Happening at 6:30pm on Thursday 10th August, the Guildford Super Sprint Triathlon consists of a 200m pool swim (25m pool), a 14km road cycle and a 3km trail run.
