The UK leg of the 2011 Ironman 70.3 series at Wimbleball has sold out. But fear not – there is a waiting list and we can show you where to find it.
The event at Wimbleball Lake in Exmoor next June has proved immensely popular, and the speed at which it’s sold out has taken everyone by surprise. However, there is still a way to make it to the start line of a race that triathlon legend Chris McCormack has referred to as the toughest 70.3 in the world.
Last year’s races were won by Scotland’s Fraser Cartmell (pictured), who went on to complete a memorable double by winning Ironman UK a few weeks later, and Bella Bayliss.
You can register for the 2011 waiting list here. As soon as a slot becomes available you’ll be contacted, and you then have 24 hours to take up the offer of a place. Good luck!
