Slateman Triathlon Close to Selling Out
The Slateman Triathlon is well on course to sell out in the next few weeks, with only a handful spaces left for the Savage, Full, Sprint and Mini Sprint distances.
Organisers Always Aim High Events are encouraging anyone interested in taking part to do so in the next week to guarantee themselves a place at the event.
2016 also sees High5 Sports Nutrition sponsoring the Quarryman Challenge. The Quarryman is a race within a race! Taking place during the run stage of the Slateman Triathlon, the Quarryman title will be given to the male and female who attain the fastest times up the infamous zig-zags in the stunning Dinorwig quarry. The winners of this stage will be rewarded with a goodie bag courtesy of the challenge sponsors, High5.
Featuring a swim surrounded by some of North Wales’ highest mountains, a bike course in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park and run through an awesome slate quarry – this is a breathtaking race.
The Slateman Triathlon is the first event in the Adventure Triathlon Series 2016, organised by Always Aim High Events. Accompanying the Slateman in this year’s series is the Snowdonia Triathlon Festival (30th and 31st July), and the Anglesey Sandman Triathlon (17th and 18th September).
