Duathlete, Claire Steels is double world champion at both the sprint and standard distance and European silver medalist at the sprint distance.
In October 2014, having always been a keen runner, Claire bought a road bike, enlisted the help of a coach and decided to try duathlon. In just 10 months, Claire went from being a novice, to flying across the globe to represent Great Britain. She brought home a gold medal as winner of the women’s 25-29 age group at the International Triathlon Union World Sprint Championships in Adelaide, Australia.
With added support from Sundried, Claire is now preparing for a busy 2017 season, culminating in the World Champs in Canada in August 2017.
