North Wales events organisers Always Aim High have today announced that Superfeet will title sponsor the Sandman Triathlon from 2018 onwards.

Taking place on the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd September 2018, the Superfeet Sandman is the third and final race in the prestigious Suunto Adventure Triathlon Series (following the Pedalcover Slateman in May, and the Snowman in July).

The Superfeet Sandman Triathlon has become the perfect way to finish the UK race season. Made up of a Sprint, Classic, Savage and Legend 72.4 distance, you’ll experience an astonishing coastal swim off Llanddwyn Beach, with the Snowdonia National Park as your backdrop. The cycle then takes you along fast and undulating countryside roads, passing through local towns and villages.

Finishing off the triathlon is a sandy trail run through Newborough Forest which eventually emerges back on to the beach for a final stretch to the finish line. The popular sprint duathlon will also return for 2018, as will the Sandman Junior Triathlon.

Tim Lloyd, Director at Always Aim High: ““It is fantastic that Superfeet are extending their partnership to be our headline title partner for the Sandman Triathlon 2018, this cements the event among the very best adventure races in Europe. Superfeet have been supporting Always Aim High from the very beginning so we are delighted to be working even closer together going forward.”

Toby Hill of Superfeet said: “After supporting Always Aim High Events from the beginning and being a part of the amazing job they do, we felt now was the time to take our support up a level. We are incredibly excited to announce our partnership with title sponsors of the Superfeet Sandman. Having taken part in the event over the last few years, it was the obvious choice of events to get better involved with. The atmosphere, course and the Always Aim High team mean it is an event that can’t be missed!”
