The AlpineMan Xtreme Triathlon is organised in the heart of the Julian Alps, Slovenia. The course takes athletes through one of the oldest European National Parks, the picturesque Triglav National Park.
- Swim 3.8km across the glacial Lake Bohinj
- Bike 180km and conquer the Vrsic Mt Pass
- Trail Run 43km over the summit of Mt Vogal
- Ascend over 4900m during the race
On 23rd September 2017 at 5am, 50 athletes will start their 226.8km journey from Ukanc to the finish line. The organisers, as athletes themselves, aim to return some of the powerful spirit of sport back to the community and at the same time connect athletes and their supporters with Slovenia’s beautiful nature and history.
