We reveal our verdict on these compression socks in our Compressport R.Socks review.

These socks aren’t especially tall with a short – by compression sock standards – 10cm cuff but the fit is pre-formed, in that it is distinctly foot shaped and tight. Not uncomfortably tight, but you know you’re not wearing casual, everyday socks. Compressport talk up the socks’ ability to stimulate the microcirculation. We’re not able to verify that scientifically, but we use and feel the benefit from larger pieces of compression apparel.

The R.Socks’ raised, padded 3D dots are strategically positioned around the heel, Achilles and forefoot. They add cushioning but also increase airflow to control temperature. The silver ion technology also helps reduce perspiration and associated bacteria build-up. You can run in them or pair them with compressive calf tubes for a lower-leg solution.

Running or relaxing, the dots deliver comfort and aid performance.
