On Cloud running shoes tested, rated and reviewed.
The Clouds still have great impact protection though, especially for shoes that feel even lighter on the road than their paltry 236g (UK 9.5). The 6mm heel-toe drop means there’s no chunky heel to get in the way and the shoes’ lightness promotes a fast, efficient turnover at any speed.
Despite being fairly narrow, we also found the Clouds to be very stable, even with their neutral footbed.
The upper is airy enough and the heel cup is supportive, though you might want to ditch the standard elastic laces to gain more security.
Pros: Flexible and firm, with great impact protection.
Cons: You may want to ditch the standard laces
