Hall, a #FocusChallenge2016 ambassador, was joined by training partner Chriss Pressdee as they took to their bikes for a record breaking 24 continuous hours clocking up a total of 323 miles whilst raising thousands of pounds for PACE charity.
PACE is a charity dedicated to providing an innovative education for children with sensory motor disorders, such as cerebral palsy.
He and Pressdee were joined by family and friends who cycled alongside them throughout the challenge. The pair finished ecstatic, arm-in-arm amongst fans having climbed over 13,000 feet at an average pace of 13.5mph burning through a massive 6,000 calories.
The ride goes towards Hall’s Focus Challenge on which he will be working throughout the year. Hall is one of eight ambassadors for #FocusChallenge2016 who are all pushing themselves to similar feats as Hall’s record using Focus Bikes and he is pushing pedal again this weekend with his next challenge: the Telegraph London’s Cycle Sportive this Saturday, 26th June.
The seven ambassadors for Focus riding alongside Hall are Chris Shaw, Alechia van Wijk, Ross Edgley, Lee-Anne Dippenaar, Jasmijn Muller, Sophie Edmondson and Felix Lowe. Some of the fantastic challenges you can expect to see them in this year include the Race Across Skane 30, World 24 Hour Time Trial Championships in California and Vuelta a Espana. Not impressed yet? Focus ambassador Ross will be competing in the Nevis Triathlon as his Focus challenge carrying a giant tree on his back to raise awareness for eco-charities.
All eight #FocusChallenge2016 ambassadors will be sharing their challenges and progress across social media so be sure to follow them on social media and keep up to date with all the action. You will find the ambassadors across Strava, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, using #FocusChallenge2016.
“Going far is something I know, but not well. I’ve never truly tested how far I can go (both literally and metaphorically speaking) and where my limits lie. In that unknown lies the excitement, the trepidation and the challenge” – Chris Hall, Focus Ambassador 2016.
